Description:

Great name for such a small timid bird - Been trying to photograph this sculking seeker of shadows for weeks. Shot at maximum zoom through my office window. Length 13cm ( 5inch) Wingspan 18cm (7 inch) Shows well against the snow but not as sharp as I would like.

Habitat:

Old woodland gardens - parks.
