Description:
It was like a largish glittering...metal like object shining on a leaf...it was so strange that shining thing that I stooped to take a look...I initially thought it was a broken off bit of metal..part of a zip or something and then it dropped off the leaf!!! Well, it dropped off because I blew on it. And I blew on it because my friend said it was dead....evidently it wasn't and she didnot get a shot either!
Habitat:
Kayaler bagan or Kayal's garden is now a bird sanctuary in the heart of Kolkata city. Although called a garden, it is not a landscaped area with only garden varieties...rather everything growing wild is preserved.Old, epiphyte laden trees rub branches with bamboo groves and wild vines trail all over . So called weeds flourish. It is also called Chintamani Kar Bird Sanctuary. ...a 17 acre small enclosed area.
