Agree this is genus Ninia, and N. maculata seems like the best bet for me as well!
I'm certainly not sure or happy with this, but it does bear a vague resemblance to the markings of Ninia maculata on lighter specimens, especially the first black wide patch behind the head and the "spots" down the rest of the body. See halfway down in http://www.azreptiles.com/forums/showthread.php?13622-Christmas-in-Panama However the head looks somewhat different to me...
