Field Notes

Description:

This mushroom is yellow and light brown. The stalk is brown,the gills are also brown. The gills are attached.

Habitat:

The habitat is damp. The mushroom was growing on a stump on the edge of the woods. It had just snowed out and there was snow on the ground

Notes:

My mushroom has gills attached to the stock the cap is yellow and has a brown outline on the edge of the mushroom. The gills are brown, the stock is brown. The area I found this mushroom was in the shade, it was also on the stump. My mushroom was in the woods but wright near Massabesic middle school. The mushroom is yellow and the gills are attached. The kingdom phylum order: fungi, dikarya, basidiomyccota, agaricomycotina, agaricomycetes in that order. The stump was old, it was already decomposing/rotten.We found it in November 14th 2011.
