Description:
The Clock-face Prickly-pear can obtain a height of 8 feet and is almost as broad. The bluish-green pads are almost perfectly round and have golden spines. It has a stout trunk.
Habitat:
Spotted near the Pinyon Flat Campground in the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument.
Notes:
Blooms from May to August.
