Description:

Brownish mushroom with a hairy stalk and circular cap. And it also has a orange and brownish stem, the gills were attached and the mushroom was in wet soil. Found outside of Massabesic Middle School.

Habitat:

A wooded area with Pine trees, and Oak trees

Our mission was to find some mushrooms on campus and identify one of them near Massabesic Middle School. We found a small brown mushroom on the ground. The mushroom has a round cap, and a hairy stalk. The color of the mushroom is brown, and we think the mushroom is Gill Fungi.
