Of course you're right, Latimeria. I corrected the ID. I think its size matchs the bug you spoted, they look very alike. What amazes me is the number of assassin bugs (and other carnivore insects) I've found. Seems there is plenty of food around...
I think you're right about it being an assassin bug, but it's not a nymph: you can see its wings. The front legs do look like clubs, but I think they're just folded up, similar to how a praying mantis looks. It looks awfully close to assassin bugs in the genus Sinea that I encounter quite often, but I'm not sure how much the size matches up.
