Description:

On November 14,2011, I went outside to go find a mushroom to try and identify. My mushroom color is brown/tan, the cap shape is round, the stalk is round and the color is orange. The mushroom location is in the woods. The gills are unattached, and the spore print is brownish/tan color. It does not have a collar and the cap is medium and the shape is round. There was no snow on the ground and it was windy and cold outside.

while searching through the internet for references for cantharellus cibarius, i came your picture across. And i hope you haven't eaten them, because i really doubt that this is one (i'm fairly sure it isn't, sorry . i dont want to dissapoint you but they are more likely something like : collybia;OR laccaria )
