Field Notes

Description:

I followed this nest from stick to babies in a series of photographs. The mother was very small and if I can remember correctly brown in color. Eggs were blue-ish color.

Habitat:

Front porch on light fixture.

Notes:

No harm was done to birds, nest or eggs and I made sure never to touch it!

Typical House Finch nest. I had a pair nest on my front lamppost also. :)
lovely spotting , very well documented!!
No problem, glad I could help! These missions are both in the global section.
Thank you so much. I knew the second part of adding but just couldn't find the missions I was seeking. :)
You must join the mission first then you can edit your spotting to choose up to 5 missions from the drop-down.
You can find the egg mission at: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8022274
You can find the nests mission at: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8082378
Thank you. How do you find a particular mission? There are so many of them. Is there a search area?
Great photos--it can also go in the eggs mission!
You should add this to the mission on nests and hives.
