Description:
Not sure what this is. Looks like tubaria furfuracea, please correct me if my hunch is wrong.
Habitat:
Growing near a tree, close to the exposed roots. May even be on some roots but I didn't want to disturb the moss to check. Mossy, wet ground and slightly chilly air. The area is mostly mud and moss.
