Field Notes

Description:

Small gray and brown bird. Buffy chest and belly with light spotted stripes. Barring on back and long tail. Bill is long with slightly downward curve.

Habitat:

Found mainly in rocky areas. Finds insects between rocks.

Notes:

This one was being territorial with another Rock Wren along the rocky dam.
