Field Notes

Description:

This medium to large-sized orb-weaver (18 mm) was uniformly dark brown, lacking the white to yellowish spots on the back of many of its species. Not much else to say about it. It had 8 legs 😊

Habitat:

Found in back of a house hanging from the eaves (25 masl).

Notes:

A friendly little guy who was much easier to photograph than butterflies.
