Field Notes

Description:

Females are reddish-brown whereas the males have a black coat (as shown in 3rd pic.) They have ringed horns which arch backwards and can grow up to 1m. They stand at 120-140cm at the shoulder.

Habitat:

Savannah woodlands and grasslands.

Notes:

Seen at the Cradle of Life Wildlife Sanctuary.
