Field Notes

Description:

small inner smooth black cups 1-2cm diam. deeply furrowed at the base of the stipe , found in singles and a cluster on eaculpt.

Habitat:

Eucalypt twigs and crevice of tree

Notes:

No spores yet , needs to mature.

Well i am not too sure , the seasons seem to be doing odd things ..and it was a treat to see these , and they are without spores yet according to Gen , she took a sample home ..so maturity still to come ...i am amazed at what Herman finds on that Hill :)
Youngsters very much like little urchin tests. I would love to find these. Too late this season for Vic I guess.
