Field Notes

Description:

The species' cephalothorax has two dark stripes. The abdomen have one stripe of the same color. Other parts of the spider is yellow. The females are larger then males, and have a body lengh of about an inch, while the males body lengh comes as a half of that. The species have six eyes, (2 on the top, and 4 on the bottom), which look more like a spiders mustache. (information from Wikipedia)

Notes:

Upon closer inspection (zooming in on the photo), it appears as though these eggs have hatched inside the sac and the babies are very close to climbing out and onto the mother's abdomen.

Grandioso mis años que no veía una de estas
I was mowing the grass and saw her in time to gently move her away from where I was working. It was nice to take a break and go get the camera. :-)
Whoa! Awesome! What luck to find her at the right time.
Dang, there are a lot of missions! ;-)
You should consider adding to the International Spider mission and the Egg mission as well.
