Field Notes

Description:

All white mushroom that was approximately 6-7cm tall. The gills had a slight yellow tint and ran down the stem a bit. The cap was dry and the margin was inrolled. Stem base was slightly enlarged. Over all, the mushroom had a foul, yet sweet odor, which is difficult to describe.

Habitat:

Growing on the ground in a mixed forest - in an area dominated by conifers.

Notes:

This is the first spotting of this species on Project Noah.
