Crown-of-Thorns
Euphorbia milii
16.423, 120.595
Field Notes
Description:
The crown-of-thorns or christ thorn plant has its stem covered in spines. When punctured, a milk like substance oozes out of the plant. The crown-of thorns can bear flowers that are pink or red in color. The texture of the plant resembles tree bark but in a lighter gradient.
Habitat:
They are ideal plants for gardens but can be found in forests where enough sunlight can reach the plant. They may also be found in thick and dense forests due to the ability of the plant: they do not need that much sunlight to survive. They can also be grown indoors.
