Description:

The Large Skipper, of an orange-brown general appearance, is a butterfly of the Hesperiidae family. Small butterfly, about 30 mm of wingspan.

Habitat:

Another common Eurasian species, and very common in our area (pays de Gex; the area between Jura Mountain range and lake Leman). This one seen in plein area surrounding Jura. Alpine environment, mixed semi-forested area.
