Description:

Brown shield shaped insects. They release an odor from glands in their abdomen as defense from predators which gives them the name as the stink bug

Habitat:

Native to China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. The stink bug was accidentally brought over to Northern America in the late 90’s.
