Description:

A beautiful little electric-blue member of the order Odonata, the Civil Bluet is a close relative of the dragonfly.

Habitat:

Found along riparian zones and around the edge of nearly any body of water.

Notes:

When trying to photograph this insect, be patient. It will generally return to the spot it was startled from.
