Field Notes

Notes:

Spotted whilst on an organised tour. 4 days spent at the Southwild Jaguar Flotel moored on the river near to Porto Jofre, specifically cruising the local waterways looking for Jaguar (or anything else we stumbled across).
During the 4 days we had 16 Jaguar sightings of 11 different animals, plus 1 Puma, which unfortunately didn't wait around to be photographed!

This is a wonderful photo of a great spotting. Could you perhaps share under what circumstances you were able to see and photograph this cat (e.g., kind of habitat, were you on a tour, etc.)?
Congratulations on the nomination man, again amazing photo!
Your spotting has been nominated for the Spotting of the Week. The winner will be chosen by the Project Noah Rangers based on a combination of factors including: uniqueness of the shot, status of the organism (for example, rare or endangered), quality of the information provided in the habitat and description sections. There is a subjective element, of course; the spotting with the highest number of Ranger votes is chosen. Congratulations on being nominated!
Thanks! (your comment should read "Lucky picture". We can all take them if we're in the right place at the right time!)
Wow, great picture :)
