Field Notes

Description:

Three 1inch casings of possibly hundreds of snail eggs. Fleshy colored. These snails are large and lay their eggs above the waterline where it is still moist.

Habitat:

These were bought at a pet store and because I'm not sure of species, I am not sure of habitat. Fresh Water snails.

Notes:

I was assured big box pet store only sold males. Lol. Also didn't realize these snails are banned in the EU because some species can be very prolific breeders and also consume large amounts of vegetation. I discovered all this information today after discovering the egg casings.
