Description:
Small, 6 legs, is black, the body is oval shaped. Lives in ponds, lakes, and rivers. Eats insect larvae. is about 2 to 3 mm, but they can get up to 7mm. They can swim using their legs to propel themselves. Their life cycle is egg, larva, nymph, adult.
