Species ID Suggestions

thank you chimetsetan for your great suggestion........:)
Hi DigantaGogoi. I saw few of your fish snaps in your collection and felt like sharing a method to take fish pictures which i learned from one of ichthiologist from chennai (JD MarcusKnight). If you want to take the picture of the fish in the field itself without killing it, you can take a plastic ziplock bag and fill it with little clear water. Put the fish in the bag and you can click pictures. Advantage = you get to see the dorsal, pectoral, caudal and pelvic fins in its swimming form without being crumbled. Better still, you can construct a small glass jar with good length and height but of small breadth. (say, 15 X 15 X 4 cms for small fishes). Same advantage. :) Hope it helps in your next fishing trip. ;)
