Field Notes

Description:

Small to medium (body length 11-25 mm). Antennae moderately serrate. Pronotum black, with broad orange lateral borders. Elytra with anterior expansion, produces into backward-pointing hooks; base black at centre, frontal half orange, rear half black.

Habitat:

Forest, savanna and grassland.
