Description:

Small damselfly.

Habitat:

Found in vegetable garden

Notes:

Damselflies have been scarce in my yard this year. Spotted two in my garden today.

They have no pupal stage. Larva are aquatic and called naiads. Naiads are voracious predators feeding on everything including small fish and frogs.
