Habitat:

Spotted inside the car parking very close to open abandoned area with lot of plants.

Notes:

Some species of Honey bee. (Dead specimen)

Hi Ornithoptera80, Thank you for the ID suggestion! :) Just few clarifications : 1. It's abdomen is not as bright reddish as shown in the reference link. The spotting has brownish red abdomen. I have observed this spotting few times. It has been exactly same color as in pics. 2. There are only 2 white bands on the abdomen (1st band is between brownish red area and black area. 2nd bank is inside the black area). Are these differences because of variations (specific to Indian sub-continent) shown in Apis florea?
