Description:

This is a young individual. Pinkish body with dark patches on the neck and a single row of fringe scales. Lifer for me.

Habitat:

Found in a parking lot at a hiking trail half way up a mountain.

I remember seeing hundreds of those little guys when I was I a kid here in New Mexico. I have not see one in the wild in 20 years. Awesome!
