Description:

This is a largest wasp, about 2 inches (5 cm) long - one of the biggest wasps in the world. They can straighten out their antennae and curl them back up - neat trick.

Habitat:

Found in a subtropical and montane forest.

Notes:

Found this beautiful colored dead wasp in a road.
