Description:

Really beautiful orange and brown butterflies. I have no idea what type.

Notes:

Spotted in Northern Andes of Ecuador.

bayucca can you id this caterpillar there lots of gulf fritillary around but its larvae look different and you've just made me realize there could be another butterfly that looks similar http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7355856
That was a tricky one! Moneta and Glycera are really very close. I think it is Glycera not Moneta due to the faint markings and stripe which are stronger in Moneta.
