Description:

Small, brown, bat. Wing span of about 25 centimeters. Near 8 centimeters in height. Lighter in some areas.

Habitat:

North America.

Notes:

I spotted these two bats in Endless Caverns near New Market, Virginia.

Always great to see bats when in a cave. The one on the left looks more like a tri-colored bat (Perimyotis subflavus), while the other one could be a type of myotis. Here is a list of bats found in Viriginia: http://www.batcon.org/index.php/all-about-bats/species-profiles.html
