Description:

Observation is on the tiny Planthopper Parasite Moth Caterpillar parasiting on the Nogodinid Planthopper (Paravarcia sp.)

Habitat:

Tropical forest

Notes:

Not familiar with this Planthopper Parasite Moth Caterpillar (family Epipyropidae), first time to observe this situation, will have to pay more attention to other Planthoppers in the future.

Absolutely awesome, Albert. I've seen many wasp larvae feeding on other species (mostly spiders), and I've also seen them AFTER feeding on caterpillars, when they emerge to form their cocoons to pupate. But I didn't know that there are parasitic moth caterpillars. Living and learning! Congrats, it is a superb spotting.
