Description:

Often mistaken for a dandelion. The common name comes from the leaf's resemblance to a colt's foot.

Habitat:

A common plant in North and South America. This flower was spotted in Shawnee State Park

Notes:

Introduced, most likely, by settlers as a medicinal item.
