Description:

This female mallard was enjoying bathing in the drizzling rain,diving in and out,flapping her wings,much to the entertainment of the sea gulls. Picture number 4 shows her standing on her tippee toes and drying her wings off.

you are spot on Atul,.it is a ring billed gull!
Atul, i observed that these birds like to be around each other. The big Egret is always accompanied by the snowy egret. At least at this pond.
