I've only seen a leopard once in Kruger, for about 2 seconds before she slipped into the thick grass. Amazing (and very private) creature.
A little story... We were on a game drive in Kruger Park early in the am. The driver was crossing a bridge over a dry stream when my brother and I spotted the leopard in the rocks. We pointed it out and everyone in the vehicle started to yell "Stop!". The driver/spotter couldn't find it on his own - the cat was too camouflaged. But at least we got him to stop and let us observe for a while.
