It is about the size of a fifty cent piece and a friend found it on a branch while hiking in the charges park.

fabulous Aristolochia! Thanks! can't help with the species at the moment I'm afraid. If anyone knows of a good site for Aristolochia species info or even a monograph of the genus, I'd be very interested.
