Description:

Female Cirl Bunting? Lemon yellow head with dark stripe. Lemon yellow breast. Back/wing feathers brown colour. Rust coloured feathers towards rump ( best seen in pic 1)

Habitat:

Freshly mown meadow

Thank you for the ident Joshua .. I looked at Yellowhammer but as a complete amateur I could'nt decide.

Note the small amount of rufous coloration on underparts.
