After being found in winter, El Paso. It is white, with a very slight tiny of yellow. As a caterpillar, it was less than an inch long, and was black with small amounts of yellow/orange lines. As a pupa, it formed a chrysalis, brown and forming spots. It has slight fur as an adult and hasn't opened its wings yet.

Habitat:

Unknown

Notes:

Seen to feed only on a certain part of a plant, not on leaves.

And now the twig has crushed it. However, black was spotted on the butterfly. Any explanations?
It has opened it's wings and crazily flown around now. However, it caused a tiny tear. Although it is a small tear, the butterfly refuses flight. Any tips on what I should do and when I should release it?
Oddly, it wasn't on a plant. It was just there, where someone on the sidewalk could step on it. Like I said, I took it in because it was winter. After looking around where it was, it began chewing on the stem, not leaves, of an unknown plant. The butterfly is sorta successful. Just is really clumsy when flying.
