Field Notes

Description:

The place I stayed at while visiting Nicaragua kept a pet spider monkey leashed to a tree. Her name was Bella.

Habitat:

Several trees near a building. She can't really go much farther than that.

Notes:

The poor monkey didn't have any other monkeys to be with and was always very clingy with us. I feel sorry for her.
