huge fat larvae/grub, as thick as my thumb

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

I found this along the trail in Ujung kulon national park. I was blown away to see something this huge.

Thanks pam and Barbara. Hmmm, I'm not sure which one is it. It kind of looks like it could be either one to me.
They are huge. They live in my compost heap in Tamil Nadu, India
Dan, it could be this one Though I'm not so sure of the scientific name http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/17522011 or the Hercules beetle http://www.beetlebreeding.ch/dynastes-hercules-breeding-and-keeping-report-part-2-larval-maintenance/
