Field Notes

Description:

A small flowering spirea bush that grows wider rather than taller. It has multiple groupings of very small pink flowers. It is about 18 inches tall and about 2-3 feet wide.

Notes:

Planted in my home outdoor garden in soil that has top soil added but under 6-9 inches is very sandy soil. Grows well and blooms in July (later than my white spirea). Prefers seasonal trimming for best growth and flowering.

This shrub is a huge attractor of bees, small butterflies and beetles.
