Notes:

Kingdom: Fungi
Division: Basidiomycota

This mushroom I have found is part of the puff ball family of mushrooms. When I found this mushroom it was the only one of its type in the area. The stalk and the cap were both white. I found this mushroom about 3.3 meters away from the road and right on the edge of the woods. This mushroom was found in partial sunlight. The soil of that area wasn’t rocky and was moist. This mushroom had no gills and had an unattached stem.
