Hello. This does look similar to the Dandelion and is certainly in the same family Asteraceae, but it isn't Taraxacum officinale, which has softer leaves with distinctly arrow head shaped tips. http://www.pfaf.org/user/plant.aspx?latinname=Taraxacum+officinale
