Description:

Almost comically, I saw it running across the road near the Visitors Center at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park on December 27, 2011. It was a little skittish but stopped long enough to grab a bug or something from the ground as I took photos.

Habitat:

Desert, scrubs, cholla and creosote bushes all around.
