Field Notes

Description:

Also known as "Tuko" in our region. White with yellow spots all over the head and body with large eyes. Has a loud mating call that sounds like 'tukko'.

Habitat:

Found him on our hillside mango orchard in the Philippines. Gecko was on our PVC pipe which provided a great view and protection.

Notes:

Was delighted to see this as it is often caught and killed to be served as a delicacy. Gotta love that smile on its face.
