I agree bayucca. It looks more like Halysidota tessellaris than H. harrisii to me, but it's tough to say for sure.
It is difficult to see the color and markings of the caterpillar. I think it might be a Halysidota sp., Halysidota harrisii and Halysidota tessellaris are quite common. But I can't sort them out from this shot. It is just a hint/guess.
