Field Notes

Description:

The head is orange, wings are brown with a whitish speckled bar across each forewing. The trailing edges of the wings are white, and there is a triangular whitish patch on the leading edge of forewings.

Habitat:

South coast of New South Wales, not far from Nowra.

Notes:

Found and photographed on the fly-wire door of our property in November 2013. My Thanks to Mark Ridgway for identifying this moth for me.
