Very beautiful. How can people eat such a beautiful creature. And thanks for commenting on my unidentified bird sighted at Nainital, India. The bird is actually a Maroon Oriole - a juvenile. I got confirmation from BNHS of which I am a member. You can know more about BNHS at bnhs.org. Nainital is a samll hill station located at about 190 mtrs. The town is centred around a fresh water lake. It is very dense around the lake but sparsely populated as you go higher. I sighted the bird where there is not much habitation. The bird gives a call at around 8 in the morning - give or take 10 minutes. I had been tracing tehcall since the past 3 days and had spent about 2 hours in total before I could photograph.
