Description:

Approximately 3 feet long, solid black...possibly white spot on head but not sure

Habitat:

Entrance to lost valley cave, buffalo national river, Arkansas

Species ID Suggestions

Either a Racer or Texas (Black) Ratsnake. A little hard to be for sure given the poor picture quality. http://herpsofarkansas.com/Snake/HomePage
I'd need to see a better shot of the snake to help with the ID, but I mainly wanted to note that I've been to Lost Valley many times and I know that cave entrance. :-)
