Yeah I think LivanEscudero is right. This is most likely the larval form of a lady beetle that predates on Mealy Bugs and mimics their appearance. Think it is Cryptolaemus montrouzieri.

I don't know species from Australia, but this is most likely a Lady Beetle larva. There are a few kinds that look like this. For example: Mealybug Destroyer and Globe-marked Lady Beetle. There are even some Saw fly larva that look like this (Butternut Woolly Worm)
